The U.S. Department of Energy’s SuperTruck Challenge asked truck manufacturers to create a truck with at least 50% freight efficiency. Daimler and Freightliner engineers responded with the Freightliner SuperTruck, a concept truck with 115% freight efficiency with up to 12.2 MPG. That’s unheard of. Our task? Making sure it was heard loud and clear.
